I didn't get to many places this HRW but I had a great meal at Legends. App of seared sea scallops was fab, a little cream below and a little lemon-herb mix on top balanced it perfectly. Main was monkfish, which had a bone through the center like osso buco. Presentation was beautiful and the mushrooms and cipollini in the red wine sauce made it a perfect cool-night dish. Dessert, chocolate pate was rich, melt-in-your-mouth and addictive. Denser than mousse and hard to describe but I kept dipping it in the creme anglaise. The waitress was sweet and didn't mind when I took forever to decide Hitting Jamesport tonight, although Hal's review is making me wary... and I have to say it's never been one of my faves...

Party of six---Jamesport Manor--Food and waitress fine---HOWEVER---Maitre d'(claimed he was the owner???)was VERY rude and nasty. When we expressed our disappointment with our table location he made some comments that we were only there because it was restaurant week and a little dissatisfaction with our table arrangement was not his problem. This was my fifth and LAST dinner at the Jamesport Manor
